Private Alfred Wolstencroft

Born on 26 December 1892 in Manchester, England - husband of Louisa Wolstencroft, Brantford, Ontario - at the time of his enlistment in 1915: trade as textile worker; married; currently a member of the 38th Dufferin Rifles of Canada (six years); previously served with the 32nd Battery (one year); Church of England; height of 5 feet 9 inches; chest of 36.5 inches fully expanded; fair complexion; grey eyes; light hair.

Joined the 125th Battalion, CEF, in Brantford, Ontario, on 14 December 1915 (number 772397) - taken on the strength of the 58th Battalion, CEF, on 1 June 1918 - transferred to the 38th Battalion, CEF, on 12 or 13 August 1918 - wounded on 27 September 1918 - invalided to England on 2 October 1918.
