Private Harry Trottier

Born on 24 September 1880 in Montreal, Quebec – brother in law of Mrs. Queenie Trottier, Montreal, Quebec – at the time of his enlistment in 1915: trade as electrical engineer; single; no current or previous military service; Roman Catholic; height of 5 feet 5 inches; chest of 37 inches fully expanded; weight of 154 pounds; dark complexion; brown eyes; brown hair.

Joined the 240th Battalion, CEF, in Smiths Falls, Ontario, on 7 July 1915 (number 787116) – taken on the strength of the 38th Battalion, CEF, on 18 or 19 January 1918 – struck off the strength of the 38th Battalion on 16 June 1919.
