Private Joseph Oscar Therrien

Born on 22 March 1895 in Sudbury, Ontario – son of Mrs. T. Therrien, Hull, Quebec – at the time of his conscription in 1918: present address same as mother; single; Roman Catholic; no current or previous military service; height of 5 feet 1 inch; chest of 35.5 inches fully expanded; fair complexion; brown eyes; black hair.

Conscripted into the 2nd Depot Battalion, Eastern Ontario Regiment, CEF, on 25 April 1918 (number 4025154) – taken on the strength of the 38th Battalion, CEF, on 10 or 11 October 1918 – struck off the strength of the 38th Battalion on 16 June 1919.
