Major Duncan Edward Manners Stuart

Born on 11 May 1862 in Caradoc, Middlesex, England - husband of May B. Stuart, London, Ontario - at the time of his enlistment in 1915: present address in Glencoe, Ontario; trade as barrister; Church of England; married; currently a member of the Reserve of Officers; previously served during the South African War.

Joined the 135th Battalion, CEF, as a major in Glencoe, Ontario, on 15 November 1915 - attached to the 38th Battalion, CEF, from 17 to 26 June 1917 - transferred to Canadian Corps Headquarters on 26 June 1917 - served as the Town Major Canadian Corps Area from 26 June 1917 to 27 February 1918 - transferred to the 6th Area Employment Company, CEF, from 27 February 1918 to 3 February 1919.
