Private George Edward Stephenson

Born on 18 December 1892 in London, England - son of Mrs. Emma Stephenson, Hamilton, Ontario - at the time of his enlistment in 1915: trade as clerk; single; no current military service; previously served with the 38th Dufferin Rifles of Canada (one year); Methodist; height of 5 feet 6 inches; chest of 36.5 inches fully expanded; fair complexion; grey eyes; brown hair.

Joined the 125th Battalion, CEF, in Brantford, Ontario, on 23 October 1915 (number 772202) - taken on the strength of the 38th Battalion, CEF, on 8 or 9 April 1918 - struck off strength to England for duty on 17 January 1919.
