Joined the 207th Battalion, CEF, in Ottawa, Ontario, on 2 January 1917 (number 246804) - taken on the strength of the 38th Battalion, CEF, on 18 or 19 January 1918 - killed in action on 28 May 1918 - buried in Lapugnoy Military Cemetery (grave IX.E.3), France.
