Private Ephraim Saucier

Born on 12 July 1896 in St. Raphels, Ontario - son of Joseph Saucier, Martintown, Ontario - at the time of his enlistment in 1915: trade as farmer; single; currently a member of the Active Militia (no details); previously served in camp with the Army Medical Corps and the 59th Regiment (two weeks); Roman Catholic; height of 5 feet 6.5 inches; chest of 36.75 inches fully expanded; fair complexion; gray eyes; light brown hair.

Joined the 59th Battalion, CEF, on 9 June 1915 - transferred to the 38th Battalion, CEF, on 21 or 22 June 1915 (number410879) - served with the 38th Battalion during its period of garrison duty in Bermuda - struck off strength to the 163rd Battalion, CEF, in Bermuda on 25 May 1916.
