Joined the Divisional Signal Company, CEF, in Orangeville, Ontario, on 13 December 1915 (number 663210) - taken on the strength of the 38th Battalion, CEF, on 12 or 13 September 1918 - wounded on 4 November 1918 - rejoined the 38th Battalion on 4 November 1918 - struck off the strength of the 38th Battalion on 16 June 1919.
