Lance-Corporal Cecil Percy Pettit

Born on 19 November 1892 in Windsor, England - son of Mrs. Clara Pettit, Twickenham, England - at the time of his enlistment in 1915: trade as bank clerk (teller); single; no current or previous military service; Church of England; height of 5 feet 6.5 inches; chest of 36 inches fully expanded; fair complexion; blue eyes; light brown hair.

Joined the 38th Battalion, CEF, on 21 May 1915 (number 410172) - served with the 38th Battalion during its period of garrison duty in Bermuda - landed in France with the 38th Battalion on 13 August 1916 - tranferred to the Canadian Labour Pool, CEF, on 26 December 1917 - later served with the Canadian Army Pay Corps as a sergeant.

Died on 29 April 1927.
