Lieutenant Albert Victor Seymour Nordheimer

Born on 14 September 1884 in Toronto, Ontario - son of Albert Nordheimer, Toronto, Ontario - at the time of his enlistment in 1916: present address in Stanley Barracks, Toronto, Ontario; trade as an officer of the Permanent Force; Church of England; currently a major with the Royal Canadian Dragoons (seven and a half years); previously served with the Royal Military College of Canada (three years) and the 9th Mississauga Horse (four years).

Joined the 6th Overseas Draft, Depot Squadron, Royal Canadian Dragoons, CEF, in Toronto, Ontario, as a captain on 29 September 1916 - taken on the strength of the 38th Battalion, CEF, as a lieutenant on 5 April 1917 - rejoined the Royal Canadian Dragoons as a temporary lieutenant on 3 October 1917 - killed in action on 30 March 1918 - buried in Moreuil Communal Cemetery Allied Extension (grave A.15), France.
