Joined the Cyclists in Toronto, Ontario, on 18 August 1915 (number 540025) - taken on the strength of the 38th Battalion, CEF, in England on 3 July 1916 - [left] - taken on the strength of the 6th Canadian Siege Battery, CEF, as a Gunner on 3 July 1917 - wounded on 8 September 1917.
