Private Lorne McKinnon

Born on 4 January 1889 in Pembroke, Ontario - husband of Olive McKinnon, Pembroke, Ontario - at the time of his enlistment in 1915: trade as laborer; married (with one 4 year old child); no current or previous military service; Church of England; height of 5 feet 8 inches; chest of 36 inches fully expanded; dark complexion; brown eyes; dark hair.

Joined the 38th Battalion, CEF, in Smiths Falls, Ontario, on 7 January 1915 (number 410799) - transferred to the 2nd Battalion, CEF, on 25 August 1915 - transferred to the Labour Pool on 14 June 1918 - transferred to the 1st Canadian Divisional Employment Company, CEF, on 25 October 1918.
