Private George Stanley McGillivray

Born on 28 April 1891 in Smiths Falls, Ontario - son of William McGillivray, Smiths Falls, Ontario - at the time of his conscription in 1918: single; Presbyterian; trade as bookkeeper; no current or previous military service; height of 5 feet 5.5 inches; chest of 36 inches fully expanded; fair complexion; blue eyes; light brown hair.

Conscripted into the 1st Depot Battalion, Eastern Ontario Regiment, CEF, in Kingston, Ontario, on 1 February 1918 (number 3056420) - taken on the strength of the 38th Battalion, CEF, on 10 or 11 June 1918 - struck off the strength of the 38th Battalion on 16 June 1919.
