Joined the 126th Battalion, CEF, in Toronto, Ontario, on 18 January 1916 (number 775645) - taken on the strength of the 38th Battalion, CEF, on 4 or 6 December 1916 - killed in action on 26 March 1917 - buried in Villers Station Cemetery (grave VII.F.25), France.

ReplyDeleteI would like to thank you for posting this information. This is my great, great, great, great uncle. I have found his Canadian Silver Cross with his name stamped on the back in cleaning out my fathers storage, quite amazing this history.
