Lieutenant Walter Gerald Lumsden

Born on 15 September 1889 in Hamilton, Ontario - son of William G. and Nora Lumsden, Hamilton, Ontario - brother of Hugh Lumsden, Hamilton, Ontario - at the time of his enlistment in 1916: present address same as brother; trade as lawyer; Church of England; no current military service; previously served with the 24th Grey's Horse (eight months).

Joined the 120th Battalion, CEF, in Toronto, Ontario, on 6 February 1916 - taken on the strength of the 38th Battalion, CEF, on 21 September 1916 - killed in action on 18 November 1916 - buried in Bapaume Post Military Cemetery (grave I.I.7), France.
