Private Frank William Lewis

Born on 8 June 1889 in Peterborough, Ontario - brother of Mrs. Mabel Weart, Peterborough, Ontario - at the time of his enlistment in 1916: present address in Toronto, Ontario; trade as machinist; single; no current or previous military service; Church of England; height of 5 feet 6 inches; chest of 37 inches fully expanded; fair complexion; hazel eyes; brown hair.

Joined the 204th Battalion, CEF, in Toronto, Ontario, on 11 May 1916 (number 237801) - taken on the strength of the 38th Battalion, CEF, on 27 or 28 March 1918 - killed in action on 29 September 1918 - burried in Bourlon Wood Cemetery (grave II.A.15), France.
