Joined the 154th Battalion, CEF, in Cornwall, Ontario, on 5 October 1915 (number 633108) - taken on the strength of the 38th Battalion, CEF, on 24 May 1917 - wounded on 26 June 1917 - invalided to England on 18 August 1917.
