Private William Thomas Ladouceur

Born on 15 May 1898 in Pembroke, Ontario - son of Michael Ladouceur and Mary Matilda Gagnon, Pembroke, Ontario - nephew of Mrs. Louise Gagnon, Pembroke, Ontario - at the time of his enlistment in 1916: present address in Pembroke, Ontario; trade as labourer; single; no current or previous military service; Roman Catholic; height of 5 feet 6 inches; chest of 34 inches fully expanded; weight of 130 pounds; dark complexion; brown eyes; dark hair.

Joined the 204th Battalion, CEF, in Renfrew, Ontario, on 18 November 1916 (number 1042382) - taken on the strength of the 38th Battalion, CEF, on 18 or 19 January 1918 - killed in action on 22 April 1918 - buried in La Targette British Cemetery (grave II.J.1), France.
