Private William Moses Kedey

Born on 4 October 1890 in Fitzroy Harbour, Ontario - next of kin listed as Herman and Annie Kedey, Fitzroy Harbour, Ontario - at the time of his enlistment in 1915: trade as student; single; currently a member of the Ontario Agricultural College Canadian Officers' Training Corps; no previous military service; Presbyterian; height of 5 feet 6 inches; chest of 39 inches fully expanded; fair complexion; brown eyes; brown hair.

Joined the 38th Battalion, CEF, in Guelph, Ontario, on 17 March 1915 (number 411017) - transferred to Princess Patricia's Canadian Light Infantry on 16 July 1915 - wounded on 17 or 20 July 1916 - died of wounds in England on 3 September 1916 - buried in Derby (Nottingham Road) Cemetery (grave 33487), England.
