Joined the Queen's Field Ambulance Corps, Canadian Army Medical Corps, CEF, in Ottawa, Ontario, on 31 March 1917 (number 2098877) - taken on the strength of the 38th Battalion, CEF, on 11 or 12 April 1918 - killed in action on 28 September 1918 - buried in Bourlon Wood Cemetery (grave II.B.20), France.
