Born on 19 January 1889 in Glengarry, Ontario - brother of Joseph Jodoin, Green Valley, Ontario - at the time of his enlistment in 1916: present address in Green Valley, Ontario; trade as cheese maker; single; no current military service; previously served with the 5th Regiment (two years); Roman Catholic; height of 5 feet 5 inches; chest of 34 inches fully expanded; dark complexion; brown eyes; dark brown hair.

Joined the 154th Battalion, CEF, in Alexandria, Ontario, on 4 January 1916 (number 633219) - taken on the strength of the 38th Battalion, CEF, on 18 or 19 January 1918 - wounded on 12 August 1918 - invalided to England on 18 August 1918.

    this is also my greatgradfathers brother. i don't have any Joseph born 1897 in the family tree, of which you mention is Alfred's brother?? Alfreds parents were Isabella & Joseph Jodoin
