Alright, Toronto, Ontario - at the time of his enlistment in 1916: present address in Toronto, Ontario, trade as labourer, single, no current or previous military service, Roman Catholic, height of 5 feet 5.5 inches, chest of 35.5 inches fully expanded, dark complexion, blue eyes, black hair.

Joined the 109th Battalion, CEF, in Lindsay, Ontario, on 11 January 1916 (number 725133) - taken on the strength of the 38th Battalion, CEF, on 4 or 6 December 1916 - wounded on 18 June 1917 - invalided to England on 22 June 1917.
