Private Thomas Henry Hindley

Born on 30 June 1898 in Birmingham, England - son of Mrs. Mary Jane Hindley, No. 3 Lease Laverenal Frome, England - at the time of his enlistment in 1916: present address in Ontario, trade as farmer, single, no current or previous military service, Methodist, height of 5 feet 11.5 inches, chest of 33 inches fully expanded, fair complexion, blue eyes, light brown hair.

Joined the 135th Battalion, CEF, in Parkhill, Ontario, on 16 March 1916 (number 803067) - taken on the strength of the 38th Battalion, CEF, on 27 or 28 March 1918 - wounded on 16 April 1918 - invalided to England on 25 April 1918 - rejoined the 38th Battalion on 5 September 1918 - wounded on 2 October 1918 - invalided to England on 6 October 1918.
