Joined the 38th Battalion, CEF, in Smiths Falls, Ontario, on 21 January 1915 (number 1263819 [also A10759]) - transferred to the 2nd Battalion, CEF, on 25 August 1915 - wounded on 25 or 26 September 1916 - wounded on 5 or 6 November 1917.
