Private Edward Joseph Feeley

Born on 10 April 1896 in Brooklyn, New York - brother of James P. Feeley, Brooklyn, New York - at the time of his enlistment in 1917: present address same as brother, trade as teamster, single, no current or previous military service, Roman Catholic, height of 5 feet 9 inches, chest of 36.5 inches fully expanded, clear complexion, brown eyes, brown hair.

Joined the Canadian Forestry Corps, CEF, in Sudbury, Ontario, on 2 October 1917 (number 2498779) - taken on the strength of the 38th Battalion, CEF, on 26 or 27 September 1918 - struck off the strength of the 38th Battalion on 16 June 1919.
