Lieutenant Robert George Dibble

Born on 12 March 1891 in Toronto, Ontario - son of Harry H. and Lucy Grace Dibble, Toronto, Ontario - at the time of his enlistment in 1915: trade as clerk, single, currently a member of the 9th Battery, CFA, previously served three years with The Queen's Own Rifles of Canada, Church of England, height of 6 feet 1 inch, dark complexion, brown eyes, brown hair - at the time of his enlistment in 1916: trade as civic employee, currently a member of the 109th Regiment

Joined the 34th Battery, CFA, CEF, in Kingston, Ontario, on 4 October 1915 (number 304398) - discharged in February 1915 - joined the 180th Battalion, CEF, as a Lieutenant in Toronto, Ontario, on 29 April 1916 - taken on the strength of the 38th Battalion, CEF, on 27 December 1916 - wounded on 28 January 1917 - invalided to England on 4 February 1917 - rejoined the 38th Battalion on 9 July 1917 - wounded on 21 August 1917 - invalided to England on 23 August 1917 - transferred to District Depot No.2 from 24 September 1918 to 10 July 1919.
