Private Reni Deniguie

Born on 24 May 1897 in Ottawa, Ontario - son of Richard Deniguie, Burnstown, Ontario - at the time of his enlistment in 1916: present address in Burnstown, Ontario, trade as farmer, single, no current or previous military service, Roman Catholic, height of 5 feet 2.5 inches, weight of 125 pounds, chest of 35 inches fully expanded, ruddy complexion, blue eyes, medium brown hair.

Joined the 130th Battalion, CEF, in Renfrew, Ontario, on 18 March 1916 (number 788595) - taken on the strength of the 38th Battalion, CEF, on 14 or 15 November 1916 - died of sickness on 12 February 1917 - buried in Etaples Military Cemetery (grave XXI.E.3), France.
