Corporal Willard Crossley Hunter Daniels

Born on 26 April 1894 in Prescott, Ontario - son of Franklin C. and Marg Daniels, Ottawa, Ontario - brother of Ben F. Daniels, Schreiber, Ontario - at the time of his enlistment in 1917: present address in Kingston, Ontario, trade as accountant, single, currently a company sergeant-major in the Canadian Army Service Corps, no previous military experience, Church of England, height of 5 feet 9 inches, fair complexion, blue eyes, light hair.

Joined No. 2 Overseas Army Service Corps Training Depot, CEF, in Kingston, Ontario, on 9 February 1917 (number 2003623) - taken on the strength of the 38th Battalion, CEF, on 11 or 12 July 1917 - killed in action on 27 March 1918 - buried in Aix-Noulette Communal Cemetery Extension (grave II.D.17), France.
