Found another "sometime" 21ster.
ReplyDeleteThanks for posting Pte HH Cooney. I see he spent some time in the 21st Btn, and it would seem under number 1112 ?. It looks like the 21st rejected him and he then went on to the 38th a little later.
We have tried to find as many 21sters as we can. Please see our websites http://groups.yahoo.com/group/21sters/

Hi John,
ReplyDeleteThanks for the message and the information on Pte Cooney. I took a look at your 21st Bn CEF website - very interesting. If I run across any images of 38th soldiers formerly members of the 21st, (or attempted enlistees) like Cooney, I'll send them your way.
Thanks again,
Ken
