Joined the 156th Battalion, CEF, in Athens, Ontario, on 8 April 1916 (number 640069) - taken on the strength of the 38th Battalion, CEF, on 18 or 19 January 1918 - invalided sick to England on 20 September 1918.
Died in 1935 - buried in Athens, Ontario.
