Joined the 207th Battalion, CEF, in Ottawa, Ontario, on 10 July 1916 (number 246583) - taken on the strength of the 38th Battalion, CEF, on 19 or 20 February 1918 - captured and made a prisoner of war on 10 August 1918 - repatriated on 8 December 1918.
