Joined the 29th Battalion, CEF, (as Patrick Conlan) in Vancouver, British Columbia, on 16 November 1914 - [then what???] - joined the 97th Battalion, CEF, (as James McNally) on 9 December 1915 (number 700182) - taken on the strength of the 38th Battalion, CEF, on 16 or 17 February 1917 - killed in action on 28 June 1917 - name listed on the Vimy Memorial.
