Joined the No.2 Overseas Army Service Corps Training Depot in Morrisburg, Ontario, on 21 November 1916 (number 513479) - taken on the strength of the 38th Battalion, CEF, on 11 or 12 July 1917 - struck off the strength of the 38th Battalion on 1 July 1918.
