Joined the 145th Battalion, CEF, in Dorchester, New Brunswick, on 30 December 1915 (number 832042) - taken on the strength of the 38th Battalion, CEF, on 26 or 27 June 1917 - wounded on 4 November 1918 - rejoined the 38th Battalion on 4 November 1918 - struck off the strength of the 38th Battalion on 26 April 1919.
