Lottie Brown, Elgin, Ontario - enlistment records provide the following: present address in Elgin, Ontario, trade as student, single, no current military service, previously served one year in a cadet corps, Church of England, height of 5 feet 3 inches, chest of 33.5 inches fully expanded, fair complexion, blue eyes, light brown hair.

Joined the 156th Canadian Infantry Battalion in Elgin, Ontario, on 15 April 1916 (number 640085) - taken on the strength of the 38th Canadian Infantry Battalion in France on 24 May 1917 - wounded on 29 or 30 June 1917 - invalided to England on 8 July 1917.
