Private Ewin Harold Arthur Baldwin

Born on 21 June 1877 in Greenwich, England - son of Edwin James Robert and Ida Florence Baldwin, Greenwich, England - attestation form notes trade as druggist, single, no current or previous military service, height of 5 feet 8 inches, chest of 36 inches, fair complexion, hazel eyes, brown hair, Church of England.

Joined the 121st Canadian Infantry Battalion on 6 December 1915 (number 760382) - taken on the strength of the 38th Battalion in France on 15 November 1916 - killed in action on 9 April 1917 - name listed on the Vimy Memorial, France.

  1. Could you correct his name in the title, please? As far as I know he has no living relatives, but I represented him at the return to Vimy Ridge when I was in high school. It should be Edwin, like his father's.
